In 2017, the first bottle of the eight-year-old Nestville Whisky from the limited collector’s edition, known as Master Blender, was unveiled. At that time, we had no inkling that this exquisite creation from the Nestville Distillery would not only capture the hearts of whisky enthusiasts but also earn the prestigious accolade of European Whisky of the Year 2019 from renowned whisky connoisseur Jim Murray, as featured in his influential Whisky Bible.
Originally launched at a price point of approximately 60 euros, the Nestville Whisky Master Blender 2017 8yo quickly garnered attention and admiration. Over the years, its reputation grew, leading to a passionate following among customers, collectors, and whisky aficionados alike. By 2023, the whisky reached an astonishing auction price of nearly 1700 euros, highlighting its exceptional demand and value in the market.

As is the cherished annual tradition, this year, the first Saturday in August brought together horse enthusiasts in the picturesque village of Hniezdne in eastern Slovakia. This vibrant celebration, known as Divoké sedlo, took place on August 3, marking its fifth anniversary at the scenic Nestville Park. The primary objective of the event organizers is to foster a community among breeders, horse owners, and riders, all united by their shared passion for experiencing life from the vantage point of a horse saddle.
On that sunny summer day, we entered a captivating world where the speed, grace, and elegance of horses intermingled with the remarkable skills of their riders, all set against the authentic backdrop of the Wild West. The atmosphere was electric, as participants and spectators alike enjoyed a day brimming with unforgettable moments, transporting us into a realm reminiscent of cowboys, where bravery and devotion are limitless.
The heart of the event was a spectacular horse show featuring some of the most beautiful and noble breeds from across Slovakia. The breathtaking NESTVILLE RODEO SHOW showcased riders demonstrating impressive horsemanship and the agility of their steeds. Audiences were captivated by the thrilling maneuvers and intricate routines performed by these skilled equestrians. Complementing the rodeo was a series of horsemanship demonstrations conducted by seasoned professionals from the Nestville Horses Riding School, further highlighting the art of riding and training.
